Offering a relaxed but indulgent fine dining experience, our restaurant, Samphire, promises attentive service, sumptuous décor and, of course, exceptional food.
Championing, wherever possible, the very best produce from Lymington, The New Forest and the surrounding region, along with the freshest local seafood. The result is a menu built on quality ingredients, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
We offer food from 12pm – 9pm every day. Our varied menu includes a selection of family favourites as well as seasonal specialities.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am – 10am | Daytime menu is served between 12pm – 5pm | Evening menu is served between 5pm – 9pm | Afternoon Tea is served between 12:30pm – 5pm.
Please note: Afternoon Tea must be pre-booked and is available with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. From Sunday 24th May, Sunday Roast will be replaced by our Garden Menu.

Daytime
There’s nothing like a lazy morning skipping breakfast or an early start for a sunrise coastal walk, then going straight into lunch. Meet friends and family for a sharing board or discover your new favourite dish from our daytime menu. Relish seasonal seafood classics such as the fish of the day or mussels, or something a little lighter; our open sandwiches and salads are packed with flavour.
Evening
Experience our indulgent evening menu, just steps away from Lymington High Street. So, if you’re staying with us or meeting friends and family for a meal out, our seasonal dining is the perfect choice. Choose dishes from the land, garden and sea, from sharing platters piled with Cornish mussels and hand-picked crab, to aged steaks and the freshest catch of the day.

The Orangery
Imagine an assortment of delicacies - pastries, cakes and finger sandwiches spread across a three-tier serving stand, with the aroma of fresh coffee, herbal or floral tea. Slow down and relax in The Orangery, a spacious conservatory ideal for afternoon tea. In our dog friendly restaurant, you will also be able to enjoy other meals in this glorious space.
Private Dining
Celebrate occasions with loved ones in our private dining room. Perfect for birthdays, wedding drinks, celebration of life or just a good get-together. With space for up to 16 for fine dining, 32 seated guests or 40 for a standing drink reception, we can accommodate your guests for a night to remember and a room for them to retreat to.

Our kitchen is open 7:30am to 9pm, serving breakfast 7.30am – 10am, lunch 12pm – 5pm and dinner between 5pm – 9pm.

Samphire unfortunately is not dog friendly, however, if you would like to enjoy a meal from our restaurant with your furry friend, if we have space or when booking, you can specify to enjoy your meal in our dog friendly area of The Orangery.
