Bedroom Reservations:
For reservations booked directly with Stanwell House Hotel, a deposit equivalent to the value of the first night’s stay will be payable to secure the booking. We will require a credit card number, expiry date, and the last three numbers of the security code on the reverse, name on the card and the issue number for Switch cards
Cancellations or amendments:
Any amendments or cancellations to all bedroom reservations must be made 48 hours prior to 3pm on the date of arrival to avoid a penalty of 1 night’s stay including tax. Any amendments or cancellations to bedroom reservations made once checked in, will be subject to the full value of your reservation being charged.
Standard Bed and Breakfast and Room Only Rate:
A payment equivalent to the first night’s stay required as a deposit to secure your reservation. For cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice, prior to 3pm on the day of arrival, your deposit will be held and available to use within 6 months of the date cancellation was made. For reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival (or no-shows), the full deposit amount will be forfeited. For cancellations made during your stay, the full amount of the reservation will be chargeable. We highly recommend that your own suitable travel insurance is in place at the time of booking.
Flexible Cancellation Bed and Breakfast and Room Only Rate:
No payment is required at the time of booking, but credit/debit card details will be required to secure the booking. No payment will be taken. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to 3pm on the day of arrival can be made with no penalty. For reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival (or no-shows), the full booking amount will be charged. For cancellations made during your stay, the full amount of the reservation will be chargeable. Payment for accommodation will be charged on check-out. We highly recommend that your own suitable travel insurance is in place at the time of booking.
No-show fee:
For bedroom reservations that do not show; the full amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit/debit card taken at the time of booking.
Smoking:
The hotel operates a strict no-smoking policy in all bedrooms and public areas. Breach of this policy will result in charges equal to any revenue lost from not being able to re-let the room (minimum charge £100).
VAT:
All prices are inclusive of V.A.T and are correct at time of going to press.
Stanwell House Pet Policy:
We’re pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs at Stanwell House and want all our guests—two- and four-legged—to enjoy a comfortable stay.

Dogs are not permitted in the Samphire Restaurant, to ensure a relaxed dining environment for all guests.
Booking & Fees

We welcome small to medium-sized dogs, maximum two per room.

A £25 per dog, per night non-refundable fee applies.
Owner Responsibilities
To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask owners to ensure the following:

Dogs are kept on a lead and well-behaved in public areas.

Dogs are not left alone in rooms, unless you remain on the hotel premises.

Dogs are vaccinated and have no history of aggression.

Owners clean up after their dogs, using the garden’s designated bin.

Any damage caused will be charged to the room.
Extra towels for muddy paws or dog bedding are available on request from Reception.
In the rare case of noise, disruption, or aggressive behaviour, we may ask that alternative arrangements be made.
Agreement on Check-In
Guests bringing dogs will be required to review and sign a copy of these terms in the form of a Pet Agreement upon check-in.
By bringing your dog, you confirm acceptance of these terms.
Three for Two and Four for Three Special Offers:
For bookings made for the Three for Two or Four for Three special offers, a deposit equivalent to the value of the first night’s stay will be payable to secure the booking. We will require a credit card number, expiry date, and the last three numbers of the security code on the reverse, name on the card and the issue number for Switch cards.
Special offers are for new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings, are not available in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to availability.
For Three of Two offer, arrival permitted Sun-Tuesday and prices quoted are per room, per night with the free night applied as a discount equivalent to 33.33% per night. Discount automatically applied to rates quoted online. Your booking confirmation/final bill will show the rate for 2 nights, split over 3 nights and will not specifically show a night with a zero charge.
For Four for Three offer, arrival permitted any day and prices quoted are per room, per night with the free night applied as a discount equivalent to 25% per night. Discount automatically applied to rates quoted online. Your booking confirmation/final bill will show the rate for 3 nights, split over 4 nights and will not specifically show a night with a zero charge.

Summer Escape Offer
The first night’s accommodation charge is to be paid at the time of booking as a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. We will require a credit card number, expiry date, and the last three numbers of the security code on the reverse, name on the card and the issue number for Switch cards.
The Summer Escape offer is available for new bookings only and is not available in conjunction with any other offer. Offer is valid for reservations that take place between 20th June and 31st July inclusive.
The package is available Sunday-Friday and is subject to availability. The offer includes breakfast, two cocktails to be consumed during your stay and 20% off the advertised standard rate. Discount automatically added and amount shown includes discount.
In the event you have to cancel your booking, any payment made will be forfeit. Bookings cannot be transferred to another date. No cash alternative. Multiple nights may be booked.
We highly recommend that your own suitable travel insurance is in place at the time of booking.

Start of the Week Offer
The first night’s accommodation charge is to be paid at the time of booking as a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. We will require a credit card number, expiry date, and the last three numbers of the security code on the reverse, name on the card and the issue number for Switch cards.
The Start of the Week offer is available for new bookings only and is not available in conjunction with any other offer. Offer is valid for reservations that take place on specific Sundays and Mondays throughout summer 2025 and is subject to availability. Availability is automatically shown on the booking page.
The offer includes breakfast and 30% off the advertised standard rate. Discount automatically added and amount shown includes discount.
In the event you have to cancel your booking, any payment made will be forfeit. Bookings cannot be transferred to another date. No cash alternative. Multiple nights may be booked, where available and advertised.

Early Bird Special Offer
The total accommodation charges are to be paid at the time of booking as a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. We will require a credit card number, expiry date, and the last three numbers of the security code on the reverse, name on the card and the issue number for Switch cards.
The Early Bird Special is available for new bookings only and is not available in conjunction with any other offer. Offer is valid for reservations that take place from 1st October – 21st December 2025 and is subject to availability. Availability is automatically shown on the booking page.
The package is available seven days a week and is subject to availability. The offer includes breakfast and 20% off the advertised standard rate. Discount automatically added and amount shown includes discount.
In the event you have to cancel your booking, any payment made will be forfeit. Bookings cannot be transferred to another date. No cash alternative. Multiple nights may be booked, where available and advertised.

Christmas & New Year’s Eve
Accommodation Bookings
A minimum stay of two-nights applies to those bookings staying Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (check-in Christmas Eve, check-out Boxing Day).
A payment equivalent to the first night’s stay is required as a deposit to secure your reservation, which is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
For reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival (or no-shows), the full booking amount will be chargeable.
We highly recommend that your own suitable travel insurance is in place at the time of booking.

Christmas Day Lunch
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is due at the time of booking. A booking will not be considered confirmed until payment has been received.
The remaining balance is due by the 1st December 2025. Once the balance has been paid all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please notify the hotel if any of your party have any additional needs or dietary requirements at the time of booking, or as soon as possible thereafter.
New Year’s Eve Celebration
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is due at the time of booking. A booking will not be considered confirmed until payment has been received.
The remaining balance is due by the 8th December 2025. Once the balance has been paid all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please notify the hotel if any of your party have any additional needs or dietary requirements at the time of booking, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Function and Meeting Reservations:
To secure a function, private dining or meeting booking, a deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is payable at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All accommodation and/or pre-agreed charges relating to a function are to be paid two weeks prior to arrival. Once the balance has been agreed and paid, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Stanwell House reserves the right to cancel any bookings should extenuating circumstances or errors occur preventing them from proceeding. Please note this is not good for business and would only be through emergency or within ample notice to source an alternative. Stanwell House will not be liable for any losses occurring as a result of such action.
We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and the Hotel. Any reservation or part thereof cancelled within the 48-hour policy will be charged for.
Weekly Yoga Class Reservations:
Spaces will be released and avaialable to book 7 days prior to the date. To secure a space, full payment is required at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
An intake/health form will be required to be completed prior to first class. The yoga instructor’s decision regarding suitability to take part will be final.
Stanwell House reserves the right to cancel any bookings should extenuating circumstances or errors occur preventing them from proceeding. Please note this is not good for business and would only be through emergency or within ample notice to source an alternative. Stanwell House will not be liable for any losses occurring as a result of such action.
