Autumn Printmaking
Autumn Printmaking with Kate Smith
Join us on Saturday 18th October, from 11am to 1pm, for the next chapter in our seasonal programme of creative workshops, this time led by local printmaking artist Kate Smith of Kate Smith Prints, based in the New Forest.
In this hands-on session, you’ll be guided through the art of lino cut printmaking, taking inspiration from the textures and colours of autumn leaves. Kate will bring along real foliage gathered from the forest, and together you’ll explore how to translate natural forms into striking designs. From sketching your motif to cutting your design into lino and finally inking and printing onto your choice of medium, you’ll create a unique piece of artwork to take home.
The morning begins with a luxurious hot chocolate, the perfect start to a creative autumn day, and ends with a well-deserved cream tea to celebrate your finished work. A relaxed, creative, and rewarding experience — ideal whether you’re trying printmaking for the first time or looking to deepen your skills with expert guidance.
Tickets are £55 per person, with all tools and materials provided. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Full payment due at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable/non-transferrable. Terms and Conditions apply.
