Wine Tasting with Hattingley Valley

Celebrate English Wine Week with Stanwell House & Hattingley Valley

Join us on Wednesday 25th June from 6.30pm for a relaxed and sociable evening in celebration of English Wine Week, as we partner with the award-winning Hattingley Valley for an informal tasting event hosted in The Garden at Stanwell House.

Guests will enjoy four exceptional English wines from Hattingley Valley, each thoughtfully paired with a curated selection from our signature sharing boards – From the Garden, From the Land, From the Sea, and a dessert inspired by the season. The final course will be complemented by Hattingley’s Entice, their acclaimed dessert wine and a true highlight of the evening.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a sample of one of our new spritzes – a refreshing taste of our newly launched al fresco dining experience.

Tickets are £55 per person, which includes all wine pairings, food, and a welcome spritz – a refreshing introduction to our newly launched al fresco dining experience.

This will be a more relaxed affair than the traditional wine dinner. With shared tables designed to create a convivial, welcoming atmosphere, the evening will be led by Ciaran McErlean and Mags Norris from Hattingley Valley, who will share stories behind the wines, the vineyard, and the pairings chosen for each course.

Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors in The Garden. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase their favourite Hattingley Valley wines on the night – perfect for enjoying at home.

Spaces are limited – book now to be part of this special celebration of English Wine Week.

Full payment required at the time of booking. Bookings are non-refundable, non-transferrable. In the case of wet weather, the event will be relocated inside the hotel. Please advise any special dietary requirements at the time of bookings.

A Little about Hattingley Valley

Nestled in Hampshire’s picturesque countryside, Hattingley Valley is a family-owned winery celebrated for its award-winning English sparkling wines. Founded in 2008 by Simon Robinson, Hattingley has become one of the UK’s most successful wineries, with over 160 medals and 14 trophies.

With vineyards thriving on Hampshire’s chalky soils, each bottle reflects our dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Our label proudly displays the Silver-washed Fritillary butterfly, a symbol of the biodiversity found on our land and our commitment to preserving it.

Led by Head Winemaker and Master of Wine Robert MacCulloch, our team combines tradition and creativity to craft wines enjoyed locally and in 16 countries worldwide.

Hattingley Valley isn’t just a winery—it’s a celebration of English heritage and world-class wine.
