Festive Workshops at Stanwell House
Celebrate the festive season in style with our series of Christmas workshops at Stanwell House in Lymington.
Starting on Saturday 29th November and continuing every Saturday in the run up to Christmas, these four creative activities are the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit whilst learning something new. Each session runs from 11am to 1pm, beginning with a welcoming glass of bubbles and ending with a delicious cream tea and selection of hot drinks – the perfect indulgent touch to a morning of creativity.
This special festive series marks the culmination of our first, wonderfully successful year of workshops. To celebrate, we’re revisiting some of our most popular activities, alongside a festive favourite. Each week brings a new opportunity to craft something beautiful and handmade – ideal for gifting or simply to enjoy yourself.
Our first activity, Pressed-Flower Baubles with Beth, invites you to create delicate, botanical decorations using real pressed flowers — a unique and elegant addition to your Christmas tree. The following week’s activity, Watercolour Christmas Cards with Becki, offers a chance to design and paint your own festive cards, each one a heartfelt, hand-crafted greeting to share with loved ones. Next, our festive favourite, Wreath-Making with Sarah, offering a chance to craft your own natural Christmas wreath, rich with greenery, berries and festive charm. Finally comes Print-Making Gift Wrap with Kate, rounds off the series with a wonderfully tactile activity that will see you designing your own beautiful wrapping paper, turning every gift into something truly special.
Whether you join us for one or all four, each activity promises a relaxed, joyful atmosphere filled with creativity, conversation, and a touch of seasonal sparkle. Come and celebrate the magic of making, the warmth of the season, and a wonderful year of creativity at Stanwell House.
