Gentle Guided Cycle Tour

Lymington to Keyhaven

Duration: 2–3 hours | Distance: 13 miles | Terrain: Flat, gravel tracks & roads

Perfect for those seeking a gentle cycling tour in the New Forest, this route begins in the historic harbour town of Lymington and follows quiet lanes to the peaceful village of Keyhaven.

Pause at The Lighthouse café for coffee and soak up panoramic views of the Solent. On the return leg, ride along the scenic Lymington–Keyhaven sea wall, with sweeping vistas of the salt marshes and the Isle of Wight.

Ideal for beginners or anyone who wants a relaxed New Forest cycling break, this tour focuses on scenery, fresh air, and a calm pace.

Guided Cycle Tour

Rhinefield Ornamental Drive & The Heart of the New Forest

Duration: 3–4 hours | Distance: 21 miles | Elevation: 300m

One of our most popular New Forest guided bike rides, this route starts in Lymington and meanders through quaint Hampshire villages, over wooden bridges, and into the ancient woodland of the New Forest.

We stop for coffee and homemade cake at The Daisy Tea Garden before heading along the iconic Rhinefield Ornamental Drive – famous for its towering redwoods and peaceful, shaded trails. Along the way, keep an eye out for wild ponies, donkeys, and, in autumn, the pannage pigs.

A perfect choice for riders wanting to experience cycling in the heart of the New Forest with plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography.

Full-Day Guided Cycle Tour

Explore the New Forest from Lymington

Duration: 4–5 hours | Distance: 31 miles | Elevation: 317m

For those seeking a full-day cycling adventure in the New Forest, this tour combines woodland trails, open heathland, and coastal cycling.

Starting in Lymington, you’ll follow scenic lanes and the disused railway line deep into the forest, where free-roaming ponies and deer wander. A well-earned break at The Old Station Tea Rooms in Holmsley offers coffee and cake before riding through picturesque villages towards the coast.

The final stretch takes in Keyhaven Harbour and the sea wall, with breathtaking views over the Solent and Isle of Wight – a spectacular finish to a truly memorable New Forest cycling holiday experience.
